Have Don teach a full day workshop at a hospital in your area for office managers, insurance staff and receptionists and teach a 2 hour dinner evening meeting for physicians the night before. Depending on the timing and arrangements, this works great, because your hospital basically gets two seminars with only one travel fee. We've never had one hospital say they regretted it and the hospital gets a copy of all comment sheets turned in by attendees at both sessions.

Have Don teach a full day workshop for your local organization chapter. Some chapters of the Professional Assn of Health Care Office Managers and chapters of the Medical Group Managers Association have both found this to not only be profitable for the chapters (as much as $4581 in profit to the chapter), but has also increased membership . In order to make this most beneficial, the chapter agrees to help Don teach a seminar at a local hotel. Members of the association usually pay $30 to $50 less, thereby encouraging local office managers/coders/personnel to join the organization chapter. The attendees receive refreshments, a full day workshop that will benefit them by helping them increase income and avoid costly audits, lunch and a workbook. It's also very beneficial to have a few exhibitors at the "conference", with each paying $200 to $400 for a table top exhibit. This helps increase the profits to the chapter. After the workshop is over, Don sends a check to the chapter for 40% of the profits fo them to use for scholerships, future training, etc... We've written checks to local chapters for $2600, $3300, $2950, $4581 and less. Obviously, the more the local chapter members fax the 2 page flyer out - the more people attend and the more profit the chapter gets for annual conventions and other things

The last way to get Don to come to your area to teach a full day seminar is to agree to help Don publicize it in your area. Our company makes the arrangements and guarantees the expenses to a local hotel for a full day seminar, including refreshments and lunch for each attendee. All PAHCOM and PAHCS members receive a discount. Don prepares the flyer and sends it to you and you agree to two things: (1) You agree to provide us a list of the doctors and clinics in your area with their fax numbers, and (2) You agree to send out faxes to your friends and colleagues in your area about the seminar. If we book at least 35 people, Don will be there to speak. If we book less than 35, the seminar is either rescheduled or cancelled and everyone preregistered receives a full refund.
